Personal care services for MO HealthNet eligible children (aged 20 and under) may be authorized by the Bureau of Special Health Care Needs. The care plan and the physician’s approval must be submitted to the Bureau of Special Health Care Needs with the Prior Authorization Request. Children who require devices and procedures relating to altered body functions may be eligible for advanced personal care services.
